St. Patrick's Day Party List

Hello all! It’s been another busy week of creating. As I tell my customers, I am self-representing artist, meaning, I am the production, sales, shipping, and promotional departments. Running your own handmade business it a lot of work yet very rewarding. This week I’ve decided to feature some of my fellow crafters and their amazing creations.

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here. Spring is right around the corner and it’s about that time when you can spend most of your days outdoors in flip flops. Break out of your winter rut; it’s time to have a party (since the last time was New Years Eve). Here is a list of great, handmade party supplies and décor to get you started...

This card an
d envelope set comes from CatScraps. This would make a great invitation or thank you card for your St. Patty’s Day party. Titled “lucky”, it is made from kraft cardstock. She also utilizes stitch work, which pairs perfectly on paper. You can find her blog here and other etsy shop here.

These comfy looking pillows come in a set of 3 from bekahbell. The set comes with 1 Large - 14" X 14", 1 Medium - 10" X 10" and 1 Small - 8" X 8" pillows. They are also available in custom fabrics to fit any style.

This pair of wine glasses is hand painted with beautiful shades of green, earthy brown, and white, with touches of metallic gold. They come from Marysworkshop and are a nice way to serve drinks (cocktails) to your guests. The glasses are painted with quality glass paint that has been baked on to make the glasses durable enough to hand wash.

Cupcakes should grace every party, no matter the occasion. Ornament those boring wrappers with these from homeholidaykeepsakes. Made from high quality textured cardstock in a spunky polka dot pattern. Did I mention no glue or tape required? They have easy to assemble tabs and are available in many colors. Right now there is a 10% discount on all orders, just use coupon code SPECIAL10. Check out her blog here, where there are free printables you might like.

"The Lucky One" comes from lunatiqueart. Greet your guests with this elegant woodland wreath at the door. Each fabric flower is built layer by layer with scrap pieces of satin and each center is adorned with a single pearl glass bead. What an amazing display of handmade creativity!

This set of handcrafted all-natural and eco-friendly wool felt heart ornaments come from SewnNatural. Give them as a hostess gift or use them to wrap part favors. They are recycled from pieces of felted wool sweater and hand sewn. This simple design and smart use of materials is why I love these. Hurry up though, there is only one set left! More naturally sewn creations can be found here on her website.

Finally, a great center piece to your St. Patty’s Day party, from janejoss. I am still trying to figure out how she made such a unique bouquet of leaves. They are made using three coordinating prints, hand-wrapped and sewn. Best of all- no water or sunlight required! Her facebook fanpage can be seen here.

I hope this list puts you in the St. Patrick’s Day party mood. They really are some wonderful, handmade creations I would love to see or have for any party. Now all we need is green food coloring to drop in our beers! Cheers!
